Our first stop, Huntington Beach, CA   My friends, Mike and Tiffany at HB.   There were about 30 people around the pier trying to surf, even though the waves weren't very large.

My room at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. Not bad, even got a free mini-fridge.   The view outside my window from the 13th floor. Good thing I don't believe in superstition...   From my window again, at night.

I thought the courtyard looked pretty cool at night, so I took this.   On our way to Downtown Disney on the Lion King Tram.   The entrance to Disney's California Adventure.

This is the lobby inside our hotel.   Standing in line to ride Space Mountain, our first ride of the day. I don't think we ever waited longer than 20 minutes to ride anything.   This ride lacks the excitement you'd think a ride with Pirates would be, but we still went on it a few times.

The boat inside the Pirates of the Caribbean.   Here's Captain Jack attempting to hide from the authorities.   One of the pirates on the ride. The props are very well done.

Captain Jack again, this time hiding in a keg.   I guess the dog is smart enough to notice there's no meat on that bone...   My first 'celebrity' sighting.

We were too cheap to buy the pictures, so we took pictures of them instead. This is us going down Splash Mountain, probably our favorite of all the rides.   A shot of Disney's California Adventure, including the California Screamin' roller coaster.   Here's Stitch, one of Disney's more recently added characters.

Nothing like the morning smog to brighten your day.   Having breakfast at Ruby's, on the pier at Huntington Beach.   Me trying to be artistic in the Hilton elevator.

The railroad was another one of our favorite rides.   This is part of the show you see inside Splash Mountain.   Brer Fox trying hard not to be eaten.

Brer Rabbit relaxing at home.   I took this for you Stacy =P   If I were a Disney character, this is who I'd be.

Time to go home. Unfortunately the 'Happiest Place on Earth' is just to expensive to stay there...
